Many feelings in a short time...

Hello everybody!
It has been a lot of time since  I wrote something in the blog but here I am again
with the intention of sharing some of the memories from the exchange,
which will never dissapear!
When we start something new, we are a little bit affraid and excited at the same time, and it
was the feeling that I had at the beggining of the exchange.
I can perfectly remember when we were at the bus, arriving to Oudenaarde, the way we looked at each
other hoping the others were as nervous as we were.
I was the last one leaving the bus, and at that moment, the firt second that I put my feet on the floor
of this new and unknown country for us, our adventure started.
The Belgians and the Spanish people got on well quickly, without any problem.
And personally, with my partner and  her family things couldn't have gone better.
We have many things in common, we were laughing all the time, we shared everything about our lives,
getting to know each other quite well, enjoying every single moment we spent together and the most important thing:
all the exchange people were LEARNING from each other, about another culture, another way of living, and a different way og thinking...and we really nice people!
We also had the opportunity of visiting beautiful places with amazing scenery.
We spent  ten days in Belgium, but they spent only seven days in Spain so we didn't stop doing things!
We went to visit Toledo and Madrid, we had a lot of free time for us,
to show them how is our way of having fun and the places we usually go at the weekends and we also organised a birthday party for two of the Belgian girls (including mi hostsister).
Because of that we wanted them to have a nice day and I hope they had it.
In fact, I could tell you a million things, but you just will understand it when you live one of this incredible
experience for yourself, you'll discover why is so great!
So if you  have the opportunity of doing an exchange..I say you: DON'T MISS THIS
GREAT OPPORTUNITY!
Now I'm happy for have chosen to try it, and I'm sure we'll remember it always.
See you soon...

Remembering

The exchange started with the first email, later, came longer conversations in facebook, and finally Belgium.
There, everything was different, ourrelationship with our partners, with the teachers, society... and we could see a lot of things and places.

In my experience, the exchange was funny and great.
For example here, one day we met with others two peers, and they cooked  Belgium's food, and we cooked Spanih's food.

I remember one thing very often, because in Spain is almost imposible, we had to go house by house, changing an egg for food.
And finally we met in the school and ate with the food that we had.

I have learned many things with this exchange, but the most important is as the Spanish way of having fun, nowhere.

I miss everything, but specially my partner's sister.

Step by step

Hello everybody! It's been such a long time since I haven'te written anything!
To start with  I want to say thatIi miss every single person in the exchange
and then I want to talk about my personal experience
but not in Belgium, just in Spain.
When I described my way of feeling while we were in Belgium I realised that
the experience wasn't already worthy of writing!
It's to easy to say that everything is perfect when you just have to go there
get on well with your family, and beeing polite, it's not the hardest work!
When they arrived here I was really nervous, I was concerned about Melissa
Every day some different things happened, and I took into account that my responsability
was to make her feel better, THAT WAS THE HARDEST PART!
But,step by step, just little by little, just talking about how things were going, everything went much better
and you know what? after those moments  you can really say that....
THIS EXCHANGE WAS THE BEST EVER!
It was so hard to say goodbye but from my point of view, I prefer it that way because
if it wasn't hard,it wouldn't have been as unforgettable as it was

I hope we can keep in contact with all of our mates and I hope we could see each other someday.
